St. Elizabeth Health Services
The parish of St. Elizabeth is divided into six (6) health districts and comprising
of 24 health centres (six (6) Type 3, ten (10) Type 2, eight (8) Type 1). Each health district
has a Type 3 full service health centre with curative, maternal and child, dental, mental and
environmental services. There is also one (1) hospital (Type C -- Black River).
The population of the parish is 151,887 (STATIN, 2010).
