We feel privileged to serve the over 600,000 citizens of the parishes of Manchester, Clarendon and St Elizabeth offering full health services through 76 health centres, five hospitals, one community hospital and two rural maternity centres.

It requires commitment, time and resources to maintain healthy lifestyles and our dedicated team of professionals are willing and able to work with all the communities in the Southern Region to achieve this goal.

We seek to ensure that our programme areas are accessible to the clients who require their services. Our Dental, Maternal and Child Health, Environmental Health, HIV/AIDS Services, as well as Health Promotion and Protection, and Hospital-based Services, just to name a few are offered in every parish served by us. We even went a step further to create an Adolescent Friendly Centre at the Mandeville Comprehensive Clinic to allow our teenagers free access to a safe and healthy environment after school dismisses. Our aim is to educate and empower people to make healthier choices regarding lifestyle changes, health promotion and disease prevention.
